The belly bar is situated in a way where you can put baby in without removing it, but it doesn't have a hinge. The Micralite ProFold boasts 20K/20K rated weatherproof fabric which is waterproof to keep baby dry and has a UPF50 rating to ensure your little one is protected from the sun’s rays.

If you continue without changing your settings we’ll assume that you are happy to receive all of the cookies we use. However, it might be a bit too lightweight and flimsy to use as your everyday buggy and, in lieflat position, doesn't feel comfortable enough for a newborn baby. luckily ds was strapped in and no harm done, but if you are thinking of tramping in the undergrowth, you'll need something tougher. Bear in mind though that it isn’t cocooned for a young baby so, while our tester deemed it comfortable for her three-year-old, she wouldn’t have used it with a baby under six months. She lives in York, UK with her son and has travelled to over 50 countries; her favourites being Italy, Canada and Vietnam.

With an added generous pocket on the hood too you can keep your phone, card and keys always close to hand and safe. The ProFold Graphite offers a fully lie-flat position via a toggled gradual recline making this a pushchair you can use from birth until approximately 4 years of age. While perfect for travelling and quick journeys, the Micralite ProFold feels a little flimsy for daily use. My love for stroller began about a year and half ago, when I found myself thinking, while taking my 7 month old daughter to a stroll for her nap, that perhaps the reason for not loving those walks as much as I should, was the stroller. I’m currently in Wales with my three children and I blog about our Welsh adventures, weekend breaks and family life.

I had a regular fold up stroller for my daughter which I had before this one which I never use anymore and is completely redundant. The Micralite ProFold is a compact and lightweight stroller that’s great for travel and short trips. That’s why the ProFold features extra suspension for the smoothest ride of any compact, so you don’t have to compromise. The only pushchair I've found to be any good on sand and really uneven surfaces is a Mountain Buggy but these are chunky and definitely not what you'd want in a campervan. If you take public transport and need to be able to fold this with one hand then I can’t recommend it enough!First developed in 1999, Micralite strollers have a unique patented folding system and are among the most flexible buggies on the market. The biggest issue for us is that our diaper bags don’t fit, which defeats the purpose for us of spending the money on a travel stroller. The four-wheel suspension and large back wheels aid its stability and give a smooth ride over a variety of terrain. Compact strollers are often associated with travelling but they’re also really useful in everyday life. But when I’ve got the Micralite ProFold, I just pick the whole thing up with Alba inside and carry it up the steps.

It’s the most compact model in the British-designed and engineered Micralite family, outstanding in its intuitive foldability. On the plus side though, the suspension springs make the pushchair wobble easily, which is great if you’re trying to get your baby to sleep!
